Model, in brief. Each set deposits stimulus to its recruited muscles = recruitment weight × rep-range factor × intensity (RIR) factor. Fatigue per muscle accumulates across sessions and decays exponentially with a time constant derived from that muscle's baseline, so overlapping work stacks rather than resetting. Readiness = 1 − fatigue ÷ reference dose. This is a planning heuristic, not a measurement — soreness and true tissue recovery are messier than any single number. Pain always overrides the app.
