Cadence · the people you want close

People.

Each person you care about has a natural contact rhythm. This shows where you've shown up and where it's been a while — a measure of your investment, not the relationship. No guilt, no scores, no sharing.

The model, briefly. Each contact you log "places" a warmth pulse that decays toward zero across the person's cadence interval. Current warmth is the highest of all those pulses — so a quality in-person hangout dominates a string of text replies. Three weights (quality / touch / surface) keep the cadence honest: surface acknowledgments can't pump a friendship's warmth, only deeper contact can. This measures your investment, not the relationship's state. The other person has agency the app cannot see.
